SEPTEMBER 2-3 2020, PALAVERDI | FIERE DI PARMA

TOPICS AND HIGHLIGHTS

The four sessions of Cibus Forum are organised with speeches by research institutes, presentations of case histories, round tables with the main players of the agri-food chain. The programme is being defined right now with the participation of authoritative names from the industry and institutions. A cross-cutting theme at the 4 sessions will be the export of Italian food&beverage abroad.

The first day will revolve around post Covid-19 changes in consumption and how nutritional choices can influence the onset of diseases, followed by a discussion about the strategies that the players in the agri-food sector can implement to adapt to these new scenarios.

The second day will focus on the evaluation of the impact of the pandemic on the agri-food sector in order to identify successful measures for strengthening the production chain. The afternoon session will be dedicated to the environment and to the potential of sustainability as a driving force for the recovery of the sector.

During the two Cibus Forum days, the best practices and innovative solutions designed by Italian companies to respond to the new requirements arising from the spread of Covid-19 will be showcased in an exhibition space. Among these is Costa Group, the Italian company specializing in the design and furnishing of Food Entertainment venues in Italy and around the world.

We will present the solutions designed to support the restaurant business at Cibus Forum. We have undertaken research that looks to the future, involving entrepreneurs who operate in different sectors, in order to find solutions together” – said Franco Costa, Chairman of Costa Group
